2 bedrooms with double beds.
Wardrobes, mosquito nets and mesh protected windows
Bathroom with shower, washbasin and self-composting toilet. Solar hot water.
Kitchen/dining space at one end of large living area. Facilities: Mahogany work surface with sink, built in cupboards, portable 3-ring gas hob, kettle, saucepans and frying pan, cutlery, storage boxes.

Small veranda with 2 mahogany armchairs

2 cotton hammocks ready to hung.

The house is cleaned daily at no extra charge. Bedlinen and towels are changed weekly and twice weekly respectively.

Services

It’s an independent log-cabin, but adjacent to the Footsteps ecolodge. You can enjoy all its facilities:

• Bird watching trips with experienced guide

Electricity, water, Internet

Solar panel electricity: 12V DC or 220V AC. Power supply is adequate but does not permit use of power-greedy appliances such as hairdryers, toasters and electric kettles. It does support computers, battery chargers, radios, ipods etc.
There is hot and cold water but system is gravity fed (we hope later to add a solar pump) so please do not expect the kind of pressure you get in Europe.
Internet access is not available in the house but can be requested at the lodge.

Eating

The log-cabin is prepared to cook breakfast and light meals, and you can also use the restaurant of the Footsteps ecolodge, with a varied menu:
